CAGAYAN de Oro’s pride Botoy’s Litson Manok, BBQ and Liempo, considered as a top brand in the char-broiled chicken and meat market, is a success story of food franchising business in Northern Mindanao.
Started in early 2000 with just a simple take-out outlet, Botoy’s Litson Manok is now on its 10th year in the business. It begun franchising in 2005 and grew rapidly throughout Mindanao, then expanded to Cebu and Metro Manila areas.

With about 50 franchising outlets to date, the company now operates government-accredited meat processing plants and commissaries in Cagayan de Oro, and Metro Manila to back up its expanding store chain.
As a top brand in the char-broiled chicken and meat market, Botoy’s was cited as one of the fastest growing franchisee in the Philippines today by Entrepreneur Magazine as of its July 2009 issue.

The National Consumer Affairs Foundation (NCAP), on its 26th Annual Consumers Choice Awards jointly with 2010 Seal of Excellence Awards has chosen Botoy’s as the 2010 Consumers Choice Awardee.
Just recently, it received the Seal of Excellence Quality Citation as the OUTSTANDING CHAR-GRILLED FOOD BUSINESS in the country today held last February 5, 2010 at the Gateway Mandarin Suites, Cubao, Quezon City.
